Kolah Farangi (Pavilion) edifice-Qazvin
This beautiful building, which is a reminder of Savafid era, was built in Shah Tahmasb Safavi period in a lovely garden and with octagonal shape. The Kolah Farangi edifice which is much like the Hasht Behesht palace of Isfahan, is a two-store building with a big hall. In its flourishing days, all rooms and corridors have been decorated with paintings and gold ornaments. It had wonderful inlaid doors and tile-works. The most beautiful part is its central hall with vaulted ceiling and a pool with a fountain in the center of it. This building was repaired and reconstructed in Qajar era and was called Chihil Sutun.
